About Me

My name is Alex Chung and I have been focus on UX area for more then 10 years.

My journey with technology began in 1994, when I got my first personal computer — a spark that ignited my fascination with the world of 0s and 1s. In 2003, I moved to Sydney to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Digital Media at UNSW. After graduating, I returned to Hong Kong to begin my career as a web designer in 2007.

As I created more websites, I started asking myself deeper questions: How are users experiencing our sites? Are they really receiving the message we intend to deliver? This curiosity naturally led me into the world of user experience (UX). But I also came to understand that “users” aren’t just the end users — they include business owners and stakeholders too. That realization pushed me to expand my perspective by pursuing a Master’s degree in Marketing at CUHK in 2013.

Now based in Brisbane since 2023, I bring a multi-disciplinary mindset to product design — one that balances creativity, usability, and business strategy to create experiences that are thoughtful, effective, and genuinely enjoyable.
